Object Diagrams

• Object diagrams
• Are used to show a group of objects and their
  relationships frozen at a specific instance in
  time.
• Provide a snapshot of a simulated running system.
• Are an instantiation of a class diagram, where
  classes become objects and associations become
  links.
• Express the static aspects of a system.
• Object diagrams primarily contain objects and
  links, but may also contain packages, notes and
  constraints.

• Object diagrams
• Are useful for modeling complex data structures.
• Should be used to show sets of objects caught in
  the act of carrying out interesting or important
  scenarios.
• Indicate the state of the objects by optionally
  showing the actual data values assigned to them.
