The Lord Loves the Drinking Man The Lord loves
the drinking man, He sent honky tonk angels to
the promised land, I hear that he can turn water
to wine, any man that can do that oh he is a good
friend of mine Ive been baptized in beer, Im
here to testify, I was speaking in tongues when I
came home last night. Some folks say Im living
in sin but I know the Lord loves the drinking
man.

Well my Daddy said son your living your life all
wrong, lighting going to strike you down before
too long. The man upstairs he dont like what you
do, when you reach those pearly gates you aint
getting through. Well Ive been thinking, got a
brand new plan, Im going to start a little
