Programs
  • DVC offers over 40 certificate and degree
    programs that prepare students with the
    career/technical skills needed for success in a
    specific occupation.

  • Programs include traditional offerings
  • such as dental hygiene, business, and
  • engineering, as well as new technology
  • programs such as multimedia, computer
  • networking, computer service technology,
  • and geographical information systems.

What programs are offered?
  • Degree Programs
  • Diablo Valley College offers
  • Associate in Arts and
  • Associate in Science degrees.
  • An associate degree requires a minimum of 60
    units of degree credit coursework, that includes
    26-32 units of general education as well as any
    major requirements.

Certificate Programs
  • DVC also offers Certificates of
  • Achievement and Certificates of
  • Completion.
  • Completing the requirements for a Certificate of
  • Achievement helps students gain skills required
  • to enter and advance in a particular career
    pathway.
  • Certificates of Achievement require more than 18
  • units of study.
