What is LABA?

• LABA is the club that represents the Latin
  American students at the Johnson School
• LABA members represent 10 different nationalities

Our Mission

• To extend the Latin American presence and provide
  LABA members with the adequate support to take
  full advantage of their experience at the
  Johnson School.

• Promote the Latin American culture and business
  practices within our community
• Maintain and increase contact with the Latin
  American community
• Help new students adapt to the Johnson School's
  challenges
• Integrate JS students with other Latin
  Organizations at Cornell
• Serve as a link to job related opportunities

• Last year, 191 corporate sponsors and over 6,000
  MBAs attended
• Possible coordination with the school to visit
  companies in the Dallas area
• LABA will help the Latin American students with
• Assistance in planning the trip
• Orientation about the fair
• Additional resume reviews and mock interviews
• Preparing resume book for the companies attending
  the fair (tentative)
• Network during Dinner at Churrascaria Fogo de
  Chao
