??????? These equations are the foundation of
Algebra and there for are used everyday by all
people (whether they might know it or not.)For
example many jobs use these equations to help
them find unknown information.

How do you solve simple step equations? Well its
simple! But first you have to keep a few things
in mind. First of all, your trying to isolate X.
Second, since your trying to isolate X, you have
to do the opposite operation to cancel out the
number by x. Last but not least, whatever you do
to one side you have to do to the other.

A real life example
A kid buys a stuffed animal for x amount of
dollars. If the kid hands the cashier 20.00
dollars and the cashier hands back 15.00 dollars
how much does the stuffed animal cost? 20.00
15.00 x -15.00 -15.00 X 5.00 The
stuffed animal cost 5.00 dollars!
