What is Chemcom???It is an introduction to
consumer science
  • What will our goals be???
  • ? To realize the important role that chemistry
    will play in our personal and professional lives
  • ? To use principles of chemistry to think more
    intelligently about current issues we will
    encounter that involve science and technology,
    and
  • ? To develop a lifelong awareness of the
    potential and limitations of science and
    technology.

What will I need for this class?
  • A notebook (binder, folder, something to keep
    all your papers in).
  • A calculator (if you are purchasing a new
    calculator, make sure it is SCIENTIFIC!)
  • Re-writable CD or a floppy disk.
  • Roll of paper towels, a small bottle of dish
    detergent, and 1 package of Ziploc Bags.
