• First person (first person acceptable on cover

• Listing job experiences under your skills section
• Having a résumé length of over 2 pages

• Be clear and concise your résumé should be easy
  to read
• Dont use odd fonts
• Dont list unnecessary information
• Include interesting things you have done (this
  will help an employer remember you)
• Avoid using verbs like helped or assisted with
  work experience (too vague)
• Tailor résumés and cover letters to jobs you
  apply for if possible
• Research companies if you can to help tailor
  résumés and cover letters
