  osmosis)
• Specialized to attack invading organisms
• Lysosomes

• Specialized for sending and receiving messages
• In the form of charged molecules passing form one
  neuron to another
• Charged molecules are electrical impulses
• This electrical charge can run great distances
  from one end of the body to the other
• Neurons are some of the longest and thinnest
  cells in the body
