Background

• Coca Cola (Israel) is one of the largest
  beverage manufacturers in Israel.
• The company distributes large quantities of
  bottles and dispensers.

Problems to be solved

• Coca Cola had serious problems storing, moving
  and shipping its concentrated syrup dispensers.
• The iron cage boxes Coca Cola was
  using created a lot of problems
• too heavy (approx. 100 kg)
  and required using fork
  lifts.

Problems to be solved

• Cage boxes were easily damaged and could not be
  repaired or used again.
• They were also very dangerous when stacked
  because the iron cage boxes were unstable.
• Loading and unloading tanks to and from the cage
  boxes was complicated.
• There were corrosion problems.

The requirements

• Find a light alternative for the heavy cage
  boxes.
• The new box should be easy to load and unload.
• Save storage area by increasing the stacking
  height.
• Durability it should be possible to repair and
  maintain the new box.
• Safe stacking.
• UV and corrosion resistant.

The Dolav solution

• The Dolav Type 1000 box pallet (1200x1000x740)
  was chosen as the standard box model and Dolav
  product engineers customized the box by removing
  one side and adding a strap to meet loading and
  unloading requirements.
• Tare weight 34.5 kg.
• Volume 600 liter.
• Max. load 700 kg
