Next actions in CASCADE

• Web site for the project
• Reuse and/or implementation of the ISO TC 184
  standards for the information model related to
  LCA and LCI
• Reuse of the learning tools already developed for
  the tutorial of the STEP by NASA (Jim URen)
• Long distance self-training for different target
  groups to provide better understanding and use
  of the model information standards and of LCA

Main outputs

• Models for LCA data representation, including a
  web repository for terminology, validated with a
  trial set of data and case studies.
• Distance learning packages for the training on
  the use of the standard and on LCA.
• A software demo for management of data and LCA
  studies.
• Guidelines for collection, treatment and quality
  of LCA data.

CONCLUSION

• There is a lot of interest on the CASCADE project
• There is an high risk that the ISO TC 184
  standards will be considered too coplicate for
  the need of SMEs
• A lot of effort has to be put in making the life
  easy to the end user
• There is a lot of know how in the ISO TC 184 that
  could be used in the CASCADE project and
  therefore any contribution is wellcome
