Making and Municipal Action This Guidebook is the
result of a new and innovative initiative of a
number of organizations and professionals in the
field of social sciences and planning. The
Guidebook presents fundamental values and
describes the process of creating a
social-community appendix, its main contents and
the fashion in which it will be incorporated into
planning and approval process. The guidebook is
meant for a wide range of participants, among
which decision makers at the planning
institutes, entrepreneurs, appendix editors, the
general public and all who have an interest in
the relation between social values and municipal
planning.

Green Building The Israeli standard for green
building 5281 "Buildings with Reduced
Environmental Impact" (Green Buildings)- The
building standard deals with both residential and
office buildings and it allows buildings that
meet the required standards to receive the "Green
Tag" of The Standards Institution of Israel. The
standard is designated for the use of architects,
planners, entrepreneurs, and contractors. The
standard is the initiative of the Ministry of the
Environment in collaboration with The Standards
Institution of Israel.
