WHAT IS PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT?
  • Practice Development is the term used to
    describe a collection of processes which enable
    individuals, teams and organisations within
    NHSScotland to improve healthcare by sharing
    examples of good clinical practice across the
    organisation as a whole, to the benefit of
    patients and staff.

ROLE OF THE NETWORK
  • To encourage staff to engage in Practice
    Development activity in order to develop an
    evidence base to underpin practice.
  • To encourage sharing of clinical practice.
  • To support Network Representatives to develop and
    maintain local networks.
  • To work closely with key stakeholders to develop
    Occupational Therapy practice.
