4ORIENTATION OVERVIEW
- All courses began with a student orientation as a
specific part of the course. - Orientation varied from 1 to 3 hours.
- Twelve classes held group orientation one
offered individual orientation. - Some instructors offered additional orientation
sessions during the quarter. - In one instance, if students needed to take the
CASAS test, the orientation lasted an additional
hour. - In one course, students had already attended an
information session and taken the CASAS test.
