Why Im putting Patient Safety First

• The RCN and NPSA are working together to gather
  personal stories to celebrate the contribution of
  nursing and midwifery to patient safety.
• We are looking for interested colleagues to share
  their stories about a real event that has changed
  the way they practice or think about safety.
• We hope that this publication will enable the
  dissemination of good practice and also
  demonstrate how an open and fair culture can help
  us all to learn from mistakes when they happen.
• If you have a story you think would be suitable
  please fill in the outline on the next page and
  forward it to us.
• We will let you know if we are interested in
  using your story and work with you to develop it
  for final inclusion
