Matching Procedure Work Term I,Winter 2007

•  
• 1. Students are required to check the Business
  Co-operative Education bulletin board (next to
  B2043) by 930 am Wednesday, October 25 or as
  early in the day as possible. If student number
  appears, go to Business Co-operative Education
  (B1015) to receive offers. If not, check the
  bulletin board again on Thursday October 26 at
  930 AM and 100 PM.
• 2. Students must accept or reject offers of
  employment in person by 400 PM on October 25, by
  1230 on October 26 and by 400 PM on October 26,
  depending on when the offer is made. Students
  must accept or reject offers in person at the
  Business Co-operative Education office (B1015).
  Students not responding will be assumed to have
  rejected the offer of employment and the offer
  will be made to the next ranked student. Once a
  student has accepted a position he/she is not
  permitted to back out (see calendar p 415,
  section 8).

• 3. Students are responsible for familiarizing
  themselves with the times and dates of activities
  in the matching process.
• 4. Prior to Wednesday, students should seriously
  think about all jobs for which they have been
  interviewed and consider the job requirements,
  your work term and career goals. As well,
  personal finances, housing, transportation and
  location must be considered.

• Do your own rankings prior to Wednesday

• Once you have accepted a position you cannot back
  out. (see Calendar, p.415, section 8)
• We cannot accept phone calls re rankings. You
  must check the bulletin board and come to the
  Business Co-operative Education office in person.
