Some Advantages of Scheduled Tasks

• Automatic Backups (Daily, weekly, bi weekly,
  etc)
• Automatically run batch jobs or a single job
• Jobs can be run outside of normal work hours.
• Jobs can be run without constant monitoring or
  hiring extra person.

Advanced Properties for IIS backup
Change D\windows\system32\iisback.vbs to
cscript iisback.vbs /backup /b DailyIISBackup

Another use for Scheduled Task
A scheduled task could be created to run a batch
file that would clean out a temp directory each
time windows starts.

CleanTemp.bat
Open notepad and create a file called
CleanTemp.bat and save it in the root directory.

Open the Scheduled task wizard and open the
CleanTemp.bat file in the root directory
