Purpose of the Evening

• Introduce the Parental Involvement Act
• Inform parents of the implementation of the Act
  in SMPS
• Gather opinion and ideas from all
• Form a Working Party to develop our Parent Council

• To promote the involvement of parents in their

• To achieve a more flexible and inclusive
  statutory system for parental representation

  - the Parent Forum deciding on its Parent Council
