Adding data to the data source
Type in the staffs details here as the
spreadsheet has the formulas which calculate the
values for you.
Change this data
The column which has formulas in is Basic Pay.
You do not need to alter the figures in this
column.
You have to enter the details in the following
columns Hours worked and overtime hours. This is
because these are the figures which are most
likely to change weekly.

Linking the main document to the data source
To show the Mail Merge tool bar you have to go
into Microsoft Word.
Go View, then toolbars and then finally click
mail merge.
This is the mail merge toolbar
To link the data source to the word document you
need to click the Open Data Source button on the
mail merge toolbar.

Merging the data
You can preview the real data by clicking on the
ltltABCgtgt button on the mail merge tool bar. Which
looks like this

Printing the wage slips
To print out your final payslips you need to
either select the print icon or select print from
the file drop down menu.
