17MODULES- STREAMS
Students can select these modules according to
individual streams such as Mechanical or
Manufacturing Engineering Stream (where the
student must select 8 modules from the list of
Streamed Modules, 4 in each semester if Full Time
Student). So Why Choose a Stream? Allowing
students to follow a particular stream, will
produce a more focused individual suitable for
industrial or research needs. Individuals in
these sectors, rarely work as both a Mechanical
and Manufacturing Engineer, rather they are
focused within one of these areas. Therefore to
increase ones opportunity in securing future job
/ research positions or developing within your
current area, it would be advisable to select
modules which will best reflect your future job /
research intentions. If you require further
advice on this, please contact Dr. Joseph
Stokes. See http//webpages.dcu.ie/stokesjt/CAM

Repeats, 40 is used for the calculation of the
overall result The actual mark the student
