  • Old Jorgenson System (stolen from Florida)
  • Survey MS, US Interstate Highways
  • Do not survey county roads or city streets
  • MDOT Maintained Inventory 14,000 Miles
  • Samples are one (1) mile in length
  • 240 samples surveyed each year 1.7 of the
    system
  • 20 per district every 6 months
  • Weighted per district by highway type
