What is speech Recognition

• Speech Recognition is used to recognize
  anybody's voice and convert it to text.
• The first speech recognition was found in 1952.
• It also consisted of a device for the recognition
  of single spoken digits.

What can speech recognition be used for ?

• It can be used to convert spoken words in to
  text.
• It can help shorten the amount of time you need
  to type.
• It is also used for people who have a mental
  disability.

the steps of speech recognition.

• First, is to go to Microsoft Word, put in the
  headset and click on tools.
• Second, is to click on speech, and then go to
  speech tools and click on training.
• Third, you pick any story that you would like to
  read and read the story aloud.
• Fourth, after you are done reading your story
  your profile will be created for you.
