  provides a crucial ingredient in our knowledge of
  galaxy formation
• Stacking HI observations of galaxies identified
  in the optical will probe the HI content of
  galaxies fainter than we can detect individually

21cm intensity mapping with ASKAP

• Modeling power-spectrum of 21cm intensity
  fluctuations will result in 10-20 (300hr
  integration) accuracy on measures of W_HI at
  z0.7-1.0, as well as host halo masses
