Peel Partnership
- Trucks deliver according to the Regions waste
collection schedule. - They are weighed as they enter/exit the facility.
- The Region is charged a fee per ton deposited.
- Region also pays for ash processing and disposal.

FROM STEAM TO ELECTRICITY
- 2nd chamber combustion gases heat steam in
boilers - Steam delivered from the boilers to steam turbine
- Steam turbine produces about 9 MW, 7 Mw is
sold/delivered the utility for distribution and 2
MW is used internally. - Steam flows in a closed loop system boilers to
turbine to condensers and back to boilers

and construction (1992). - Very supportive Co-chairs take part in public
and government tours on a regular basis. - Many long term members well attended meetings.
- Bi-monthly meetings in conjunction with ROP.
- No public complaints.
- Review and comment on monthly reporting to
MOE/ROP. - Very knowledgeable on operation of plant and
supportive of EFW. - Very proud of the ROP leadership in this area.
