Gozdnica town is situated in a south- western
part of lubuskie province, in Zagan discrit.

It is situated in a border zone of Polish-
German border.

It borders from south- east on dolnoslaskie
province directly.

It is next door to Przewóz commune and
Wymiarki commune, and to urban communes Ilowa,
Wegliniec.

The surface of Gozdnica is 24 km2.

It is situated in western border of The Slasko-
Luzycka lowland mezoregion within Bory
Dolnoslaskie.

The surface of the town in administrative
boundaries is 23,97 km2 .

• Arable lands take up 484 ha, which include
• arable lands 236 ha
• orchards 9 ha
• meadows 124 ha

Forest grounds take up 1667 ha and there are
246 ha of grounds that are left.

The town is inhabited by 3535 people ( the
number from 22 November 2007 ).

The town is connected with Przewóz, Ilowa and
Ruszów towns by roads, which are categorized
as provincial roads.

• The biggest objects in Gozdnica are

• The electricity power
• Receivers of the city are powered
• with the voltage of 20 kV. It is
• possible by using an aerial electric
• line from the electric engine
• 110/20 kV in Wymiarki.

From this line there are hooks- up with 20 kV
that power the transformertor station ( 20/0.4
kV) in Polana.

The Ceramic Building Plants of Gozdnica are
basically powered by two distinct electric
lines of 20 kV from Wymiarki electric engine,
and just in case, from the line 20 kV of
Przewóz- Wymiarki.

The receivers are powered by 12 transformertor
stations (20/0,4 kV) which are tower , one-
story and pillar type.

The invested areas are powered by cable lines
20 kV of cross- section AL. 50- 70 mm.

convert it into the Industrial Commune Zone.

land was used to patrol the wood and extinguish

the sign D-GN.Iwas.7722.I-2/07 from
19.06.2007. Gozdnica became the owner of
the Industrial Zone Lotnisko with
the surface 38,9270 ha.

straight, which makes that an entry and a ramp

Thanks to that road the industrial zone has got
a connection with the Ilowa A-18?15 km

Thanks to voivodship roads nr 350 and nr 296
the zone is to have got a connection with A-4
Godzieszów motorway that is about 35 km
distant.
