The History of the Gypsies and their influence
  • The dance origins with the arrive of the Gypsies
    to Spain.
  • They arrive in 1447 for first time.
  • The Gypsies came from Morocco, Egypt, India,
    Pakistan, Greece and other countries.
  • They called their selves Rum Calk the runner
    from the prairies.
  • They spoke the language calo from the Indian
    dialect maharata.
  • These words are used today in Andalusia.

  • It started as a casual reunion in the streets.
  • One person began to play the guitar.
  • More people started to get together, they used
    their feet and hands to make noise.

    to dance.

    and dance.

    popular.

    club and in the taverns.
