Title: Photo Diary
1Photo Diary
2After arriving home from school, Ms. Stump and
her fiancé, Brian Vetich, head over the to the
Stump household for dinner.
3On the way to Crystal Lake from Hampshire, the
two get to see the countryside. Both really love
the worn roadsides they pass.
4Stump lived in this house for most of her life.
In order to save money, she and Veitch have
dinner with her family at least once a week.
5About once a year, the family, together, makes
rice balls, a dish from Grandma Aquaviva. With
the assembly line (from left) Adam Stump, Carrie
Stump, Alison Kust, Ms. Stump, and Veitch all
prepare dinner.
6The ingredients for rice balls are rice,
tomato-meat sauce, and peas. The peas and sauce
are patted into a ball of rice. The rice ball is
then rolled in egg, followed by bread crumbs.
7The ball is then fried in oil for about two
minutes. After setting, they are ready to serve!
8Making the rice balls is the easy part. Its the
waiting that drives Carrie (on left) and Ms.
Stump (lower right) crazy.
9Ms. Stump was very excited during dinner. It
seems like it would be the start of a great
weekend...
10Unfortunately, the rest of the weekend was awful.
Ms. Stump forgot her camera at her parents house
on Friday. She had to return there Sunday
afternoon.
11She and Veitch (on right) needed to figure out
how she could still complete this photo diary. It
was Sunday and the two of them had had a busy
Saturday.
12Stump decides that with Veitchs help, they might
be able to recreate some of Saturdays events.
13Saturday morning, because they want to get
married in the Catholic church, Veitch and Stump
had to attend a natural family planning seminar.
They received a lot of information.
14After the seminar, the two had lunch and
discussed what they learned. So, Stump and Veitch
headed out to take a picture of the restaurant
they ate at.
15Following lunch, Stump and Veitch returned home.
For about an hour after, Stump had cleaned her
portion of the house.
16While cleaning, Ms. Stump did a weeks worth of
laundry.
17With the chores done, Stump could tag along to
Costco with Mrs. Loy. Veitch had stayed home to
plan for his first week of school.
18With those major events recreated, Stump
remembered shes played tennis on the Wii before
bed. She and Veitch headed down to the basement.
19The two of them created the picture, but then
decided to play against each other. Veitch won
two out of three.
20Despite being depressed because of her loss,
Stump cooked shrimp stir-fry (right) with rice
(left) for dinner.
21Veitch enjoyed the dinner and cleaned up the mess
afterwards. Stump figured they were now even.
22Stump figured now was a good time to sit down at
her desk and begin prepping for the next week at
school.
23As she looked out her window to her backyard,
Stump was feeling great. She tried to make up for
her earlier mistake, and was ahead of schedule
when it came to planning.
24However, as Stump moved her computer from her
desk to her couch, she forgot that her USB drive
was still in the computer. The strap got caught
around the knob to the desk.
25The flashdrive (below) snapped in two pieces. Two
years worth of work, saved and now lost. Moral of
the story?
