Wednesday 12th September.
Today I finished the plan which I started last
lesson. Where as the group started thinking about
their individual research. After finishing the
plan I also went onto do my own individual
research. I didnt use the internet to do the
research today I just thought about what
problems I may face and what competition I may
have.

Friday 14th September.
Today I didnt do as much work as I could have
done, due to letting myself being distracted,
however I did browse various website in search of
a suitable bouncy castle and price. I didnt find
such a bouncy castle so I went onto doing a mind
map of my fund raiser so I would therefore have
thought about all the aspects of my fund raiser
to make sure I get the most out of it possible. I
also added some more detail into the resources
needed section of my research.

Monday 17th September.
Today I carried on looking for a suitable bouncy
castle and found one on this website
www.fundayltd.com. I then emailed the company
asking for a price quote. After emailing the
company I then filled in more of my research
under the likely cost section. After filling that
in I went onto looking for prices of refreshments
on the internet, but didnt record any of this
research.

Wednesday 19th September.
Today I checked my email to see if the Fun Day
ltd company had replied which they had. I then
recorded the prices I needed in my research sheet
and went onto Legal Constraint which I may face
and also recorded this on my research sheet.
However I feel more could have been done.

Friday 21st September.
Today I created my questionnaire in order to
gather ideas about how much to charge and decide
upon refreshments. I also got pupils to fill in
my questionnaire. After doing that I recorded my
questionnaire results in excel. In the second
half of the lessons I started the costs and
profits in excel and came close to completing the
recording of the questionnaire results.

Monday 24th September
Today I created my questionnaire in order to

Wednesday 26th September.
Today I began to add detail to my questionnaire
results and added bar charts demonstrating the
percentages of answer to my questionnaire. I did
this to make it visually easy to view my
questionnaire results, although I feel I could
have done more this lesson.

Friday 28th September.
Today I finished my research which included
finishing the refreshments prices and adding this
to the prices and costs of the fund raiser. I
also edited my Cash for kids project folder to
make it easier to keep my project up to date and
easy to access. Also towards the end of the
session the group gathered together and worked on
the agenda for the group meeting on Monday.

Monday 1st October.
Today I began my eportfolio after finishing my
Research. I also searched for a suitable image to
go on my eportfolio as well as linking some of
the pages within my eportfolio. I also recorded
the website that I got the image from on all the
pages of the eportfolio so viewers of my
eportfolio will know the source of which the
image came.

Wednesday 3rd October.
Today I worked on my eportfolio again to make it
up to a high standard of work. As I had to create
various different pages to go into my eportfolio
and link in the pages. This took longer than I
had expected as I also concentrated on the
appearance of the website to optimise the
eportfolio.

Friday 5th October.
Today I finished my eportfolio and checked it was
all linked properly and worked in the internet
format. I then had to encourage my team to work
faster as I could not continue my work without
having the group meeting with them and we could
only hold the group meeting when they had
finished their research. In the later lesson I
added a scrolling marquee onto my homepage as I
had already completed all the current work and
didnt want to waste time.

Monday 8th October.
One of my group members (Ben) was absent today
and Richard hasnt finished his research section
yet so I therefore cannot proceed with the
remainder of the project without the group
meeting so I worked on my own research section to
improve my written hand out, that I am going to
present to the group at the meeting. To improve
the handout I added bar charts to make the
questionnaire I did more visually informant as
well as making sure I included all the emails I
had used to gather prices information.

Wednesday 10th October.
Today we organised our meeting yet we didnt
complete the meeting as we are still waiting upon
one of our group members so I therefore improved
my spreadsheet adding details of refreshments.
We also organised the meeting as by the end of
the lesson our other group member had finished.

Friday 12th October.
Today I didnt do any work with contribution
towards my project as I did have to direct one of
my group members (being the group leader) of
which actions they had to take next for instance.
I informed Richard upon making an excel
spreadsheet for his questionnaire results.

Monday 15th October.
Today as a team we wrote up the decision
meeting and our decision to choose jigs event. I
also worked on my company name strap line and
logo.

Wednesday 17th October.
Today I began to make my logo from scratch using
royalty free image and editing it on fireworks.

Friday 19th October.
Today there was a power cut so I therefore lost
all the work I did within the two hour lessons.

Monday 29th October.
Today was a student target and review day so we
therefore had no lessons meaning I missed the
hour of it I usually have on a Monday.

Wednesday 31st October.
Today I recovered the work I lost in the power
cut so I therefore redid my work on my
eportfolio which meant linking my logo into the
portfolio as well as beginning to write about the
company logo.

Friday 2nd November.
Today I added detail to my eportfolio, including
information on research page and publications as
well as linking in our logos.

Monday 5th November.
Today I added more detail to my publications logo
page. I added why we chose which logo and the
considerations we had to go through to chose
logo. I also added detail to my plan.

Wednesday 7th November.
Today I wrote about my corporate identity on my
website. I also began work upon another business
documents as we need five and only have four in
our group so I am therefore doing two, The other
business document I began was a receipt for the
refreshments.

Friday 9th November.
Today I finished my second business document.
Including front and back. I also linked all of
my groups documents into my website, apart from
Richard Shiltons as he has not yet done his
business document. As today is a double lessons I
also turned all my documents that needed it into
pdf as well as my groups documents into pdfs so I
could link them into my eportfolio. Which I also
did today.

Monday 12th November.
Today we wrote the minutes for previous meeting
and held a new meeting deciding upon who would do
which promotional item, after creating a list of
what possible promotional items we could do.

Wednesday 14th November.
I created my first promotional item which was a
digital poster, which took me all lesson as I did
it in PowerPoint and had to do all the different
factors such as colour schemes and custom
animation.

Friday 16th November.
Today I finished my other two promotional items
which were a poster and keying also instructed
Jignesh upon how to begin the enterprise proposal
website. I then also created a webpage for my
promotional items as well as writing up a
strategy for the promotional items.

Monday 19th November.
Today I researched the prices for my two
promotional items that would actually cost
money. I also updated the spreadsheet to add in
the prices of my promotional items. I then
linked in my prices research page onto my
eportfolio. As well as checking I had linked all
my previous work in.

Wednesday 21st November.
Today I again added to the event costs
spreadsheet as I added other group members costs,
yet not all prices have been recovered so I
couldnt complete the spreadsheet. I also added
more of my group members work to my eportfolio.

Friday 23rd November.
Today I continued adding the remainder of my
groups work to my eportfolio. I also created
another project plan as I have lost my last one.
I then linked in my project plan, as well as
linking in some of the promotional items. I also
worked upon the enterprise proposal, along with
jignesh.

Today I again worked on the enterprise proposal
as well as linking in and editing my eportfolio.

Friday 7th December.
Today I had a mock art exam and therefore missed
two sessions of ICT. I therefore didnt do any
work towards ict today. The proceeding lessons
are also occupied by mock exams.

Wednesday 9th January 2008.
Today I checked my eportfolio again making sure
that all links worked, I also completed the
promotional presentation as Richard did not
complete this promotional item in time for the
time plan so I therefore took over and made it
myself, as well as adding it to the company
website.

Friday 11th January 2008.
Today I worked on completing the final
spreadsheet with Jignesh. To do this we had to
collect prices for the promotional items and then
add that price to the costs of the events. This
took the entirety of lesson today.

Monday 14th January 2008.
Today I added the final spreadsheet link into the
Enterprise Proposal. I then added the enterprise
proposal page to my personnel e portfolio.

Wednesday 16th January 2008.
Today I organised my promotional presentation
ready to display around the school and get
photos. This meant I had to add time to the
presentation and send it to Mr Reeve. Who then
sent it on to the headmaster who would then
display it on monitors around the school. I also
tried to take photos of the destination where we
are having the school disco, however there was an
exam in the hall so we will have to take the
photos another day.

Friday 18th January 2008.
Today I took pictures of my digital poster in the
corridoor and began my review.

Monday 28th January 2008.
Carried on with my review adding print screens of
my work and deciding upon their positives,
negatives and ways of improvement.
