The Aim

• WP 1 is to deepen knowledge about decline process
  in Hinterlands.
• WP 1 will reflect decline management measures on
  WP 4s regional foresight and therefore cover the
  whole projects time, installing a constant flow
  of experiences and results from the other
  work-packages.

• Typology of declining Hinterlands
• Disseminations and networks

• Collection and interpretation of statistics,
  plans, regional WP investigation results and
  structuring of developments related to
  depopulation trends and Hinterland typology
• Evaluations of decline facets and activities,
  first generation of Hinterland typology and
  structuring typology results for WP 2 and 3 incl.
  presentation on the 2. Hinterland Forum
• Continuing of exchange of experiences,
  discussion/dissemination of intermediate results
• Development, first implementation/dissemination
  and maintenance of information tools
• Joint and step by step development of tailored
  and sustainable applications with optimised tools
  due to the demands from WP 2 and 3 and
  complementing evaluations
