Advantages

• It can and will be used in the near future for
  many things
• Hydrogen is totally non polluting
• It can be economically competitive with gasoline
  and diesel

• When hydrogen is used in a fuel cell to create
  power it is completely clean technology
• Hydrogen can be produced anywhere there is
  electricity and water
• It is safer than gasoline

Disadvantages

• Very expensive
• Limited supply because storage is very hard
• Lower efficiency than a fuel cell

• All over
• 3 most abundant item
• Environmentally safe

Uses

• Hydrocarbons make up many of our fuels, such as
  gasoline, natural gas, methanol, and propane.
• Hydrogen in the future will be used to power cars
  and other such items

Miscellaneous

• NASA has used liquid hydrogen since the 1970s to
  propel the space shuttle and other rockets into
  orbit.
• It is generally produced from hydrocarbons or
  water. When burned as a fuel, or converted to
  electricity, it joins with oxygen to again form
  water.
