• çré-bhagavän uväca
• idaà tu te guhyatamaà
• pravakñyämy anasüyave
• jïänaà vijïäna-sahitaà
• yaj jïätvä mokñyase çubhät
• The Supreme Personality of Godhead said My dear
  Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I
  shall impart to you this most confidential
  knowledge and realization, knowing which you
  shall be relieved of the miseries of material
  existence.

Most confidential knowledge and realization

• The messages of the Supreme Personality of
  Godhead are full of potencies, and these
  potencies can be realized if topics regarding the
  Supreme Godhead are discussed amongst devotees.
  This cannot be achieved by the association of
  mental speculators or academic scholars, for it
  is realized knowledge.

Most confidential knowledge

• Ninth Chapter deal with unalloyed, pure devotion.
  Therefore this is called the most confidential.
• Although one who has a sincere desire to render
  loving service to the Supreme Lord is situated in
  the conditional state of material existence, he
  is to be considered liberated.

What is meaning of realization?

• Simply to understand that a living entity is not
  material is not sufficient.
• One should recognize the difference between
  activities of the body and the spiritual
  activities. E.g. tape wheels moving in same
  direction.
• Also god realization means to be Krsna Conscious.

Anasüyave (not envious)

• Even scholars and commentators on Bhagavad-Gita
  are envious of Krsna.
• No one can explain Bhagavad-gétä or give perfect
  knowledge of Kåñëa if he is envious. E.g. Krsna
  is imaginary character.
• Such commentaries should be very carefully
  avoided.

Freedom from inauspicious

• Krsna says, I shall impart to you this most
  confidential knowledge and realization, knowing
  which you shall be relieved of the miseries of
  material existence. (asubhat)
• Miseries of material existence are actually
  inauspicious for living entity. e.g. Lady
  approaching Lord Buddha for reviving her son from
  dead.
• By understanding the knowledge in 9th chapter one
  is sure to be freed from this inauspiciousness.
