Driver Qualifications
  • Arizona License (unless non-resident student)
  • 18 years old and licensed for 2 years
  • HOV drivers 19 years old and licensed 3 years
  • Acceptable driving record (MVR review)
  • Completion of applicable driver safety training
  • Evidence of liability insurance for personal
    vehicles

Each driver's motor vehicle record (MVR) is
evaluated using a point system as outlined
below. Moving Violation 3
points Preventable Accident 4 points
Points accrued on separate incidents. A
preventable accident that includes a moving
violation for the same incident will be counted
as 4 points. Preventability determined by
Vehicle Accident Review Committee
