  behaviour in children in Wales.
• Which aspects of the RCT and the social context
  need to be duplicated to get the same results
  elsewhere?

Importance of causal theories

• We need to decide which variables of the
  intervention are causally significant
• and
• which factors in the environment interact with
  the intervention to produce success or failure.

• How do we incorporate users views in policy
  making decisions?
• Empowerment choice are buzz words but how
  much power are we willing to give and how do we
  decide how to weigh their views relative to the
  empirical research?
