Title: Tropical Rainforest
1Tropical Rainforest
2Animals
3 The rainforest is the most diverse biome on
earth. Animals that live in rainforests vary
from birds to insects. Some of these are sloths,
monkeys, parrots, panthers, beetles, and many
snakes.

4Precipitation and Annual Rainfall
Tropical rainforests are the wettest
terrestrial biome. Annual precipitation in a
rainforest vary from 250 to 450 centimeters.
Temperatures range from 20 to 40 degrees Celsius.

rainforests are located.
7Interesting Facts
Rainforests now cover less than 7 of Earths
land surface but they are home to over 50 of all
known species of living organisms. And some
researchers think our current number of known
species may vastly underestimate Earths true
total, and that millions more may
existespecially in tropical rainforestswaiting
to be discovered. 300 square miles of forest
between Panama and Costa Rica were found to be
home to 500 species of birds, 4 times the number
living in the broad-leafed forests of all of
North America.
