• 529 Wellington is located off the river in an
  elegantly restored Winnipeg mansion, once owed by
  Mayor J.H.Ashdown. It is now owed by WOW!
  Hospitality Concepts. 529 Wellington is home to
  Executive Chef Michael Dacquisto and Sous-Chef
  Fraser Macloed.
• 529 serves a wide selection of exceptionally
  prepared meat and seafood in an elegant setting.

Canadian Prime Beef

• 529 Wellington is the only restaurant in Canada
  to exclusively serve Canadian Prime beef. Less
  then .5 of all Canadian beef production is
  graded Prime.
• Each guest is given the Tour of Beef, which
  shows the different cuts of beef, veal and lamb
  cuts available.

Responsibilities

• I worked on cold side during dinner service. This
  includes preparing all appetizers, salads and
  desserts.
• I received some training on hot side all side
  dishes, and broiler all entrees.
• Cleaning some fish and lobster for service.
• Cleaning the lobster tank on a nightly basis.

Conclusion

• I highly enjoyed working at 529 Wellington. The
  staff at 529 were all very helpful and
  entertaining to work with. I feel that my skills
  on line has immensely improved. I have learned a
  lot being able to work with Chef Dacquisto. I
  will be continuing to be working part-time at 529
  Wellington.
