• Your mission for the letter is to do whatever you
  think is necessary to get the parents' support.
• Each group can brainstorm the things they want to
  address in the letter.
• Prioritize the issues and then address them in
  your letter.

• You are excited and at the same time are a bit
  nervous.
• You don't know how parents will respond to this
  new method.
• You have a lot of things to explain to the
  parents and on top of everything you need the
  parents' SUPPORT.

• Culminating experience is carried out at the end
  of the unit and showcase the peak experience of
  the unit.
• It provides an experience that will integrate and
  summarize students' learning.
• It ties all concepts and background knowledge
  together and focuses on how the students will use
  these experiences in the real world.

A Checklist for Culminating Experience

• A general description of the designed activity
  (e.g., what is the finished product?).
• What are the concepts and skills students are
  needed (e.g., a list of the concepts and skills).
• A detailed description of procedures for students
  to follow to complete the product (What should be
  done by the students to complete the
  experiences?)
• A simple rubric with 5 areas for evaluating the
  students product.
