SQTF - Stave Loading Status

Loaded Staves

• Inserted Staves - Completed the production for L2
  half shell (26), a few more can be available if
  needed after some repair.
• New Pipe Staves (production before August)
• 71 Loaded, all qualified but two (WU_20/S1114009
  and WU_26/S4136)
• Loading after few weeks of stop resumed last
  week
• CPPM 2 loaded as L1 and in test
• Genova not resumed yet (Visa problem), will
  probably restart next week
• Wuppertal 1 stave loaded (?) under qualification
• We still need at least 15 staves to add to the 71
  ready (total 86).
• There are 27 L1 quality and 18 BL quality (module
  quality before loading). We need 38 and 22.
• Some of BL will go to L1, but would be better to
  have the complete production finished before L1
  integration to select the best staves for BL!

Bare Staves

• Repaired Staves
• Last set of repaired staves sent to the 3 Sites
  (5 CPPM, 3 Genova, 4 Wuppertal).
• Torsion of two staves higher for normal
  acceptance for L1.
• 4 BL quality and 1 almost BL.

• New Pipe staves
• 12 Staves back from Comelec the 17/8 and now in
  Genova for Joule Test and Survey.
• Distribution to Sites will be discussed at next
  SQTF on Thursday
• Shipment will happen as soon as decided the
  distribution (CPPM may need to get faster to
  avoid stopping)

Modules

• Genova ad CPPM have a Loading throughput of 2
  staves/week, Wuppertal 1 stave/week.
• If we want to conclude the loading and
  qualification by end of September we should
  redistribute some modules from sites
• One possibility would be to ship 25 modules from
  Wuppertal to CPPM.
• The number of modules that we still have is
  enough for 4 staves more than needed, but we
  want to keep a few modules spares for repair.
  This could be of the order of 1 stave in number
  of modules.
