1. Research Background Material
Choose a character, a setting, and a conflict
from the historical novel. Research and find any
historical facts or allusions to them. Use 2 to
put on the PP presentation. Make sure you
document correctly. Research the background of
your author. Present information about him/her
on a separate PP slide.

Find 3 photographs or drawings that depict any
historical aspect of your novel. For each, give a
brief description of the image and tell how it
relates to your novel.
