3What is mCLASSReading?
- A toolkit for early reading assessment
- Uses both the Palm and the Web
- Designed to
- Save you time and paperwork
- Help you track and analyze reading progress of
students and classes - Help you communicate results with parents and
other staff members
4How does mCLASSReading work?
- Teacher chooses a text from the reading library
- Teacher assess student on text and records
information on the PDA - Teacher syncs information at designated sync
station - Information is stored and used to report progress
5When using your PDA handheld remember to
- Always use the stylus, not a pen or anything
else. - Tap lightly, do not stab the PDA handheld!
- Digitize to realign if the handheld is not
responding to your tapping. - Clean the handheld with a soft cloth or special
handheld cleaner. - Keep the handheld charged and synchronize
frequently to avoid losing important information.
