• Significantly less data in May and September
• Preparation guidance / Software completion notes
  - available for each Census
• Existing surveys discontinued from 2008
• DfES to limit Census changes in 2008 / 2009

• Autumn (Sept) Census to collect ALL previous
  year
• Includes No of Possible sessions, Attendance
  Codes, No of Sessions missed
• Should have been recording from September 2006
  (in Attendance Module with the new codes)
• Only pupils who attend should be on Current /
  Former roll

• Compulsory from 2008 to use the new DfES Codes
• Kirklees LA not using them until after Jan
  Census

• Permanent Exclusions - start date rule change
• Behaviour Module or spreadsheet needed
