11Exam Format
- Multiple Choice Format
- 50-55 questions on Exams 1 , 2, 3
- Timed test 75 mins for each exam
- Administered via webct and must be taken in the
testing lab - Must take the exam at the campus you are
registered at.
12Testing for Area Campus Students
- Students will take the exam in the area campus at
6 p.m. with a set time limit of 75 minutes.
13Testing Lab in BAII
- Departmental policy.
- The benefits to using the lab is a standardized,
controlled and comfortable environment where
students dont have to worry about others
cheating. - You will also get your grades back quicker
(usually within 48-72 hours). - You will sign up for an exam time slot online.
Sign-up instructions will be provided on the
class website two weeks before the exam.
14Testing Lab in BAII
- The number of students who can take the exam in
the main campus during each time period is
limited, so we will have three time slots - 500 615 p.m.
- 630 745 p.m
- 800 915 p.m.
- Sign up for the available seats will be
first-come, first served.
15Optional Make-up Exam
- No-excuse needed"
- Exam Date Dec 7th, 2005 (7 815 p.m.)
- You cannot make up a bad grade in an exam.
- You may make-up ONLY one missed exam.
- Same format, same content, same number of
questions but different questions. - There is NO curve on the make-up exam.
16Exam Grading Policy
- Grading will be done by the webct system.
- I will look at the descriptive statistics of the
exam and make a decision on the curve. The
results (including the curve, if any) will be
posted within 72 hours. - Please feel free to come by my office during
office hours and look at your answers. - You will also have online office hours.
- Questions about any exam must be raised PRIOR to
next exam.

25How to get a good grade in this class?
- Marketing is not an easy subject.
- It is not rocket science either.
- Efforts will fetch you the desired results.
- Applied questions versus definitional questions.
- Material gets harder as we go along.
- In my classes, regular attendance is always
correlated with good performance. - Take good notes -- make note of my examples /
audio visuals / videos. - Ask questions in class (or outside) if youre
unsure about the material. Were here to help.

facilitate your learning. Hopefully, you will
learn how to do marketing? - Bring an outside perspective to the subject
