    knowledge is required
  • National Minimum Standards and GSCC Codes mention
    the need for employers to provide training,
    development, specialist information and advice
  • Little clear understanding of how much is enough
    with great variation across the country

    for specific areas of work within adult social
    care
  • They are designed help employers to improve
    consistency in the underpinning knowledge learnt
    by the adult social care workforce
