Fall
  • In fall (or autumn), nature is preparing for
winter. Trees are getting ready to shed their
leaves. Many animals are preparing for
hibernation. The nuts and berries of many plants
are ripe and ready for animals to eat. Some birds
are preparing to fly to warmer parts of the world
    to avoid the winter.
  • Look for bright colored leaves to identify fall!

4
Winter
  • In winter, nature is quiet. Trees are beautiful,
    as theyre covered in snow.
  • Look for lots of white snowfall to identify
    winter!

5
Spring
  • In spring, plants start growing and leaves sprout
out of the trees. Birds build nests and lay their
eggs and other animals get ready to take care of
their babies. Insects emerge from hibernation or
    hatch from over-wintering eggs.
  • Flowers sprouting and leaves growing help
    identify spring!

6
Summer
  • In summer, plants are in full bloom. Many will
flower in summer. Animals are very active and
    their babies are running about.
  • Look for lots of bright sunlight to help identify
    summer!
