Stage 1- Egg
Stage 2- Tadpole

Stage 3- Tadpole with Legs
Stage 4- FROG

Stage 1- Egg

• Tiny frog eggs are laid in the water by the
  female frog

• The egg is surrounded by a
• jellylike covering

• The egg slowly develops

Stage 2- Tadpole

• In 10 days the tadpole wiggles
• out of the jelly ball

• The tadpole has a long tail
• and lives in the water.

• The tadpole breathes through gills
• on the outside of its body

Stage 3- Tadpole with Legs

• Little tiny legs begin to sprout

• Develops lungs and now
• breathes air like us

• The tadpole looks like a teeny
• frog with a really long tail

Stage 4- FROG

• 11 weeks- fully developed frog with
• lungs, legs and no tail

• The frog lives mostly on land

• Eats insects and worms
