Our proposals
  • As an NHS Foundation Trust, we would have
  • A membership made up of local people, patients
    and staff
  • A Council of Member Representatives that will
    include people elected from our public and staff
    members and nominated by our partner
    organisations
  • A Board of Directors, made up of a chairman, five
    each non-executive and executive directors
  • Clear constitutional arrangements

  • over 12 years old
  • live in Poole, Purbeck, East Dorset,
    Bournemouth, Christchurch, North Dorset, West
    Dorset or Weymouth and Portland
  • not employed by Poole Hospital
  • Staff members
  • All staff and volunteers will be offered
    automatic membership unless they opt out
  • Appointed member representatives
  • local authorities, PCTs, education
