Three Graduation Options
  • Regular High School Diploma
  • Occupational Diploma (Mississippi Occupational
    Diploma)
  • Life Skills Certificate

Regular Diploma
  • Must meet requirements by State Department of
    Education and JDCSD.
  • Twenty-four Carnegie units
  • Subject area test Algebra I, Biology I, English
    II and U.S. History

Occupational Diploma
Available only to students with disabilities
  • Completion of a Portfolio
  • Portfolio emphasis hands-on activities, work
    progress

Transition IEP
  • IEP committee will determine completion
  • Portfolio is presented to principal or designee
    for approval of graduation
