Introduction

• This theme was chosen to develop a healthy
  self-concept, develop cooperative learning
  skills, improve students achievement in language
  arts, and mathematics. With the use of
  technology, student will become thinkers, and
  independently responsible learners as well as
  self-confident individual and team players.

• Use input devices and output devices to
  successfully operate computers, VCRs, audiotapes,
  and other technologies (1)
• Use developmentally appropriate multimedia
  resources to support learning. (1)
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with
  peers, family members, and other when using

• Increase sight vocabulary to improve oral reading

• Letter recognition and letter-sound

  at Boyd Elementary School.
• Students were given the task of telling about

• Students make a picture graph of how many family
  members do we have in our family.
• Students use Kid Pix to make a slide show of
  numbers 1-10.
• Students used directional terms-up, down, left
  and right to give direction to a place on the
  map.
