Title: TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

2
Teaching is
  • As a teacher, one should have a passion for the
future of our society and also care about todays
    children.
  • Teaching became my choice of career because I had
a good educational experience and, therefore, I
have a desire to do the same.

3
Subject Area
  • Teaching should cover all basic subjects that
will aid in a student progressing into society
and hopefully advancing them into a lifelong
learning in which they might pursue extended
    education choices.
  • Also, I would like to add fine art subjects into
my curriculum because it would bring a sense of
    culture to the classroom.

4
Politically Correct
  • Teaching children in todays society is much
different than before. Children in the general
classroom will cover a broad spectrum of gender,
race, religion, and income levels. With all these
differences, it is important for me as a teacher
to remain unbiased and in control of my opinions.

5
Classroom
  • A general elementary classroom, no matter what
grade really, should be full of engaging and
stimulating posters on the wall and also, it
should have spaces for the childrens work to
motivate them to be creative. A creative
atmosphere should include lots of materials
including educational and crafty. These together
make school fun and a place where children will
    want to be.

6
Teaching Methods
  • Teaching is so multidimensional that many
different methods need to be taught for all the
    different learners in my classes.
  • Different methods I would use is visual aids,
hands on activities, and well researched
    lectures.
  • Also, homework is important because it encourages
the student to think about the material after
class has ended and, hopefully, involve the
parents in the education of their child.
