• Our solutions leverage Plumtrees personalization
  functions down to the page level.
• We have found that trying to integrate an
  enterprise taxonomy without personalization is
  confusing to the user.
• With personalization a community or a page in a
  community can leverage the taxonomy by selecting
  which facets and the values of the facets that
  are relevant to the community.
• The personalization is used for both tagging and
  ingesting into the knowledge library and for the
  advanced search capability.

Taxonomy Administration

• The Taxonomy Administration allows an enterprise
  to capture the facets of a taxonomy and
  personalize them to a community or a page in a
  community.

• The administration function provides the ability
  to create the facet as a Dropdown, Multi-Select
  or a Free Form Text.
• It also provides the interface to populate values
  for the facet.

• The contribute/tag function provides the ability
  to upload and tag a document with meta-data
  values pre-defined by your taxonomy.

  on the actual document. This function works on
  both MS Office documents and PDF files.
