4Mission
- The initiative of the Stuttgart Region Economic
Development Corporation (WRS) shall contribute to
develop and establish the Stuttgart Region as one
of the outstanding locations for aerospace
industries in Europe. In doing so, the WRS
cooperates closely with other european regions
and with all other partners in the state of
Baden-Württemberg.

6Point of Departure
- The state of Baden-Wuerttemberg is one of the
most important locations of the European
aerospace industry. - Companies like EADS, Tesat-Spacecom, Thales,
Schempp-Hirth or Dornier Consulting are operating
in the Stuttgart Region respectively in
Baden-Wuerttemberg. - Additionally, suppliers of the automotive cluster
like Behr, Bosch, Busak Shamban Deutschland and
numerous SMEs built up aerospace divisions. - The research infrastructure in Baden-Wuerttemberg,
especially in Stuttgart, is excellent. Industry
and research institutes are well linked.
