Mission
  • The initiative of the Stuttgart Region Economic
    Development Corporation (WRS) shall contribute to
    develop and establish the Stuttgart Region as one
    of the outstanding locations for aerospace
    industries in Europe. In doing so, the WRS
    cooperates closely with other european regions
    and with all other partners in the state of
    Baden-Württemberg.

Point of Departure
  • The state of Baden-Wuerttemberg is one of the
    most important locations of the European
    aerospace industry.
  • Companies like EADS, Tesat-Spacecom, Thales,
    Schempp-Hirth or Dornier Consulting are operating
    in the Stuttgart Region respectively in
    Baden-Wuerttemberg.
  • Additionally, suppliers of the automotive cluster
    like Behr, Bosch, Busak Shamban Deutschland and
    numerous SMEs built up aerospace divisions.
  • The research infrastructure in Baden-Wuerttemberg,
    especially in Stuttgart, is excellent. Industry
    and research institutes are well linked.
