Title: Fact:
1(No Transcript)
2Fact
Improve the way you manage your energy and
you could cut your fuel bills by 20
3Fact
If all UK schools did so, they could save
around 20 million and 300,000 tonnes of carbon
dioxide emissions a year. Just one tonne of
carbon dioxide would fill six double-decker
buses!
4 And thats not a one off saving - it can be
maintained year after year.
5What do I need to do?
Step 1 Get the whole school involved from
the head teacher and leadership team, to
teachers, site staff, governors, parents and
students
6Colleagues need convincing?
- The benefits speak for themselves saving energy

7What next?
Step 2 Carry out an environmental audit of
your school
8An audit will
- Form the basis of your plan of action
- Set a standard against which to measure progress
- Help identify the most significant and easiest
areas to start working on
9And finally...

school policy or management plan and start
installing sustainable energy measures
